Peter Solomon is our long-time waterfront director. Peter makes everything at Trickey pond fun, growth-oriented and safe. Our swimming, non-motorized boating and watersports program all fall under his purview. Peter was a standout college swimmer at NC State and went on to have an extremely successful coaching career, serving as the head swim coach at both Middlebury College and Wesleyan University. Peter’s family has also been involved with Skylemar for quite some time. His son Luke attended Skylemar as a camper and now plays college lacrosse (a sport he learned at Skylemar) at Christopher Newport University. Luke has also worked at Skylemar, along with Peter’s daughter Ellie.
