Danny Thomas, or DT, is our do-it-all director. He originally started at Skylemar as a counselor while he was a college basketball player at Grinnell and North Central College. He rose in the ranks at camp, becoming our basketball director, Sky 2 head, logistics director and much more. Over his time with us, DT won over the hearts of everyone at Skylemar, most notably Luci’s! Danny and Luci got married in September of 2024. You’ll find DT on stage as a dynamic MC, teaching and playing hoops as much as he can. Danny is a high school math teacher and head varsity basketball coach at Fryeburg Academy in the winter.
